Propaganda • Nobody could read/see anything that was hostile/damaging to Nazis • Views of Nazis put across in the most persuasive way possible • Reich Chamber of Commerce in 1933:Art, Literature, Music, Radio, Film • Book burnings • Films on: Jews, Greatness of Hitler, Way to live as a Good Nazi. • Comedies for ‘lighter look’, Goebbels

  4. Films • Anti-Semitism and Indoctrination, all controlled by Goebbels • Eternal Jew and Jew Sub • HitlerjungeQuex • Many of these films, were not successes

  5. Radio • EugenHadamowsky, head of the Chamber of Radio. • Removed anyone on radio against the Nazis. • National pride, patriotism, pride in Hitler, Aryan pride • Cheap radios, ‘People’s Receivers’ • During WWII, treason if one listened to overseas broadcasts

  6. Newspapers • Racially clean, Journalists that were Jewish, Liberal fired. • Remaining, Nazi citizenship test. • Nazis banned production of any newspaper from Jews • Nazi Newspapers did well after January 1933
