BYNs mission • Supervise the collective agreement for apprentices within construction: • 3 years in public upper secondary school – The Construction Programme followed by 1-2,5 years as company apprentice • Company apprentice all the time, 2-4 years • (BYN has no own training centres)
BYN and RE.FORM.E • BYN joined the network during the Copilote project • Michael Gustafsson is the ”permanent representative” • The social partners take part in the RE.FORM.E-meetings to follow the development and support the BYN staff
RE.FORM.E – important issues • European professional card and recognition of professions • EQF/NQF, ECVET, Europass and all those EU initiatives… • Sustainable Construction

RE.FORM.E – other issues • Exchange of information on education systems in different countries in order to increase mobility • Suggesting an agenda point for information on news from partner organizations…
RE.FORM.E – meeting related • Participating attenders • Respect the working language – English • Timeconsuming translations to other languages occur • Each participator has to take response for translation • There should be space for other questions than those related EU funded projects
RE.FORM.E – finally • Michael Gustafsson:“During the Spanish presidency, the network has evolved to become something less formal and with both lighter but also more effective meetings - is vitally important that this is maintained”
