Self-study questions The router at the edge of my university network connects to a router on the California Research and Education Network. What are the IP addresses of those two routers? Trace the route to www.microsoft.com from two different places, for example your home and your office. Are the routes the same? Explain the differences. I traced the route to Google.com from my home and from my office and the IP addresses of the final hops were different. Can you explain that? If you trace the route between two hosts at different times, will it always be the same? Explain your answer. Which organization owns the host with the IP address 74.125.0.0 ?
