Data management for a Parliament through the crisis • There can’t be any recruitment for the next years • The staff gradually decreases as the retirement rate increases • Since there are no newcomers, the remaining staff consists of generations which have not been educated to the computing culture to a considerable degree

  3. How IT can contribute to better and faster operation of the Directorates? • By changing the distribution of IT staff

  4. New role of IT staffin non it directorates • Immediate implementation of IT activities necessary for the improved functioning of the Directorates • On the spot training role for other employees of the Directorates

  5. Advancement measures for IT staff placed in other Directorates • Accessibility to managerial positions for the IT staff assigned to other Directorates

  6. Computer usersat a Parliament • Employees of the Parliament • MPs • Associates of the MPs • Journalists

  7. The Administration has to work methodically, with motivated escalating steps, in order to achieve its goals efficiently

  8. Supportive measures • Efficient securitysystems • Availability of a modern, functional and user-friendly portal • Special care for persons with disabilities • Electronic collaboration with the Ministries

  9. The Challenge for every Administrative Organization is to efficiently combine IT and HR
