  1. Tooting United Reformed Church Sunday 4 October 2015

  2. I will enter His gates with thanksgiving in my heart; I will enter His courts with praise. I will say this is the day that the Lord has made. I will rejoice for He has made me glad.He has made me glad, He has made me glad, I will rejoice for He has made me glad. He has made me glad, He has made me glad, I will rejoice for He has made me glad.

  3. God is love, let heaven adore him; God is love, let earth rejoice; let creation sing before him and exalt him with one voice. He who laid the earth's foundation, He who spread the heav'ns above, He who breathes through all creation: He is love, eternal love.

  4. God is love; and love enfolds us, all the world in one embrace; his unfailing grasp is holding, ev'ry child of ev'ry race. And when human hearts are breaking under sorrow's iron rod, that same sorrow, that same aching wrings with pain the heart of God.

  5. God is love; and though with blindness sin afflicts and clouds the will,, God's eternal loving-kindness holds us fast and guides us still. Sin and death and hell shall never o'er us final triumph gain: God is love, so love forever o'er the universe must reign.

  6. Psalm 8For the director of music. According to gittith. A psalm of David. O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens.

  7. From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise because of your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger. When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,

  8. what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him? You have made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned them with glory and honour.

  9. You made him rulers over the works of your hands; you put everything under his feet: all flocks and herds, and the beasts of the field,

  10. the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, all that swim the paths of the seas. O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!
