Making Tracks • Think about your microphone • Directionality • Gain • Portability • Technique (No PrØn Voice) • Recording to disk is quickest way to record • No trans-coding • Record using .WAV format • Recording Platforms • Record using sound editing software on a computer • Record using flash recorder

Putting it together • Organize material into tracks • Multiple sources can be combined using a mixer • Channel per source • Doesn’t have to be a studio board • Edit your material • Good for getting rid of extraneous material • Work on a copy • Be mindful of file size • Stereophonic sound may not be required • High sampling rates may not be required
