  11. Item Explanation • Port It is the communication protocol port for TCP and UDP. It is a software structure, which used by . customer program or service process to send and receive message. Relationship between IP address and network service is one-to-many, so a host machine with an IP address will distinguish different services via “IP address+ port number”. We compares an IP address to “a house ”then port is the door. • Server It is a special computer system , which provides various services for customer-side in network environment.

  12. Item Explanation • Static IP It is a long-term fixed IP address for a PC. • Dynamic domain name with this dynamic domain name, server will get an static IP address in internet. So that solving the problem of dynamic IP address.

Hardware and Software • Hardware 1.A-series controller 2.3G/GPRS modem integrates on controller, prepare 3G/2G SIM card by yourself 3.Server (customer who builds their own server) • Software 1.LedEditor 2.LedSet2.0 3.LedDataServer (for building server) 4.Static IPor DNS customer-side software---this for customer who builds their own server

  14. System principle--connection diagram 1.Controller get access to internet via ADSL, wireless 3G or GPRS. 2. Control screen by multiuser in remote place. Different users have different permission. 3. Controller and user software message will be exchange in LED data center.

System principle--demonstration • 1.Controller C and D will auto connect port X after getting online and tell their serial number and owner name---Jerry. • 2.LED Data Center will manage all controllers by users and will monitor online/offline status • 3.User A will connect port Y and login LED Data Center by using name (Jerry) and password. After that, the Center will list out all controllers that belongs to Jerry. • 4.User A can only manage controller C and D, while User B can only manage controller E.

  17. System operation steps • Write down “master name” in Hardware setup in LEDeditorV9 and send to controller. • Login LED Data Center by using user name and password. (xixun company will assign user name and password for customers) • Customer will see their controllers after login • Check controllers status and send programs

  18. Operation steps • Step1, run LedEditor and enter Hardware setup, write down master name. server Domain or Server IP, service port (50001) are defaulted by xixun company. But customer who build own Server needs to change these parameters.

  19. Step2, select “server transfer (3G,GPRS,INTERNET)” under multi-mode in Software setup. Domain name or IP, port (50000) are defaulted by xixun company. Customer who build own server needs to change these parameters.

  20. Step3, click on Send button and login user name and password.

  22. Build server • Two methods to building server: 1.Xixun company provides following things: a. User name and password b. Provide server IP /domain name for controller connects with server, default port to monitoring controller is 50001 c. Provide server IP/domain name for software connects with server, default port to monitoring user 50000 2. Customers build it totally by themselves: should prepare a PC with stable system and always access to internet.

  23. Steps for method 2: • Step1, PC get internet through router then running LedDataServer.exe software • Step2, set parameters and startup

  24. Step3, assign user name and password for your end customers.

  25. Step4,set port forwarding in Router. Forwarding port 50000-50001 to server, IP address is the server’s IP in LAN.

  26. Step5,if server IP is not static then should use DNS. Apply an valid Domain name in advance and download the customer-side. Please login domain name in router or login customer-side.

  27. After building success, customer will see the server working as following:

  28. APN • APN(Access Point Name), it is necessary parameter when using 3G/GPRS modem to get internet. Foreign customers need to consult their local telecom operators about APN.

  29. APN • When don’t plug SIM card in controller and enter Hardware setup interface, please press F7 key then will see many APN (domestic and overseas)

  30. APN • When plug SIM card in controller, software will recognize APN name automatically. Normally, customer no need to set APN.

  31. APN • For foreign customers, if software doesn’t recognize or there is no option in APN list, please write down the APN by user-defined.
