Case Studies- Caregivers Experience Before I met the CHV who referred me to the health facility, my child’s head was very unstable BUT after attending several sessions in the hospital- I am very happy that my child neck is now stable and she is trying to stand on her own.” Carolyne Otieno with Baby Velma (With delayed Milestone)
“When the CHV referred me to take my child to the hospital for further management, I was very reluctant until she had to threaten me that she was going to inform the authorities. I later reluctantly accepted to go to the hospital where I was educated on how to take care of the baby and was also given the fortified porridge powder. My child was too thin and wasted that I could not travel with him anywhere BUT after giving the fortified porridge for only a week, the child gained weight and became very bright that even the father started carrying the child and even going with him outside the house. I am very grateful to the support and urge all women to utilize the available health service.” Dickens Mother -
