Energy and climate counseling Example 1 The client has a 12 year old log boiler with copper coils and exhaust ventilation. It was suggested to replace the wood boiler and install heat recovery systems. These measures were implemented with positive results. Example 2 A community center contacted the energy and climate advisor about having high electricity consumption, despite heating with wood pellets. The advisor visited the center and suggested a number of improvements, including better insulation, turning off the electrical back-up boiler during the summer, and change from circulator pump to variable speed pump. Some of the suggested changes were implemented.
