COM1 MIC COM1 COM2 MIC COM2 COM3 MIC COM 1/2 is disabled; creates transmit conflicts COM3 COM 1/2 TEL PA is disabled; SPKR is operative PA SPKR DME and ADF are disabled; DF receive = AUX MKR MUTE HI SENS PLAY is disabled DME NAV1 ADF NAV2 AUX MAN SQ PLAY PILOT COPLT PILOT--- ---COPLT PASS DISPLAY BACKUP
COM1 MIC COM1 COM2 MIC COM2 COM3 MIC External FM/UHF switch controls connection to either radio, one at a time, no priority COM3 COM 1/2 TEL PA SPKR FULL DUPLEX connection to telephonic device MKR MUTE HI SENS DME NAV1 ADF NAV2 AUX MAN SQ PLAY DF (receive only) PILOT COPLT PILOT--- ---COPLT PASS Selecting MIC auto selects same RX; select other desired audio button(s) to listen to multiple radios DISPLAY BACKUP

COM1 MIC COM1 COM2 MIC COM2 Mutes the selected MKR BKN audio; unmutes when new audio is received (also stops PLAY audio) COM3 MIC COM3 COM 1/2 TEL PA SPKR MKR MUTE HI SENS Increases MKR BKN sensitivity; press again to return to normal DME NAV1 ADF NAV2 AUX Enables manual squelch for intercom; when active, press PILOT knob (inner) to illuminate and adjust using PILOT or COPLT knobs MAN SQ PLAY PILOT COPLT PILOT--- ---COPLT PASS Manually selects reversionary mode (turns MFD into a PFD repeater) DISPLAY BACKUP
COM1 MIC COM1 There are 4 intercom ‘isolation’ modes: PILOT – pilot alone COPLT – co-pilot alone (remember SEAT 2/3 switch?) Both selected – CREW Neither selected – OFF Passengers can always talk among themselves, and can talk to ‘crew’ as well, unless isolation is selected COM2 MIC COM2 COM3 MIC COM3 COM 1/2 TEL PA SPKR MKR MUTE HI SENS DME NAV1 ADF NAV2 AUX MAN SQ PLAY PILOT COPLT PILOT--- ---COPLT PASS DISPLAY BACKUP
Failures • “Onside” COM for that panel as Primary • Pilot – COM1 • Co-Pilot – COM2 • Whoever is the CO-PILOT selected position • Additional Receive only option • Pilot – COM2 • Co-Pilot – COM1
PFD/MFD Failures • Reversionary Mode – MFD reverts to PFD in the event of total PFD failure • Individual Component failure – PFD displays invalid/incorrect information with a RED X • Reference System • Air Data Computer • Integrated Avionics (including Engine Analyzer) • Engine Analyzer only • Audio Panel specifics • “Onside” COM for that panel as Primary • Pilot – COM1 • Co-Pilot – COM2
