  2. Dr. Olafsson completed a forensic neuropsychology residency with Dr. Aaron Noonberg at the Osler Medical Center in Towson, Maryland. Dr. Olafsson also completed a year long externship at the Maryland General Hospital Bryn Mawr Rehabilitation Center; he was employed as a school psychologist in Maryland and Florida; and the consulting neuropsychologist for the Halifax Hospital Traumatic Brain Injury team.

  3. He has been in the field of psychology for nearly 20 years, having completed practicums and an American Psychological Association pre-doctoral internship at Crownsville State Hospital in Maryland, with participation in a formal neuropsychology training program.

  4. Neuropsychology involves the assessment of different brain functions such as memory, attention, concentration, judgment, reasoning, problem-solving ability, motor and sensory functions, as well as psychological variables which may impact functioning. All available educational and/or medical records are reviewed to determine an appropriate diagnosis and intervention.

  5. Neuropsychological evaluations are provided for children as young as toddlers all the way to the geriatric population. Forensic evaluations for courts and attorneys are provided, and, when necessary, court-room testimony is provided.
