Influencing Factors onProfessional Development Continued • One Additional Component To Be Aware Of……Personnel Development Management Project (PDMP) • Redesigned to address gaps and overlaps in professional development activities and delivery of services • Comprehensive System of Personnel Development (CSPD) renamed PDMP • Three Major Components • The Overall PDMP • The Personnel Development Advisory Committee (PDAC) • ESE Personnel Development Team

  8. Influencing Factors onProfessional Development Continued • Overall Goals of the PDMP will be to: • Facilitate Professional Development Advisory Committee (PDAC) • Disseminate PD information to BEESS discretionary projects • Manage State Personnel Development Grant (SPDG)

Influencing Factors onProfessional Development Continued • Overall Goals of the PDAC will be to: • Facilitate system for providing personnel development in the areas of pre-service and in-service for exceptional student educators • Composed of discretionary project directors, CASE and BEESS representatives • Then there will be the ESE Personnel Development Team at DOE who will: • Provide input related to ESE personnel development policies • Communicate priorities and initiatives to recruit, prepare and retain
