What is SI? • Informal, weekly review sessions • Targets historically difficult courses • Available to all students taking the class • Attendance is voluntary and free • Facilitated by a leader who is proficient in course content

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU? • Get ideas for study strategies that will help in other classes • Have your questions answered once you are out of class • Gives you a chance to discuss important concepts • Test preparation • Studies show students who regularly attend SI earn a better grade
WHAT’S AN SI LEADER? • Will be in class with you • Won’t do your homework • Will help put course material in perspective • Will provide reviews and testing samples • Will sort out similarities and differences • Will share effective study strategies • Won’t re-teach the material
