2. Hungarian Constitution • In the Republic of Hungary the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion is granted to everyone. • This right includes the free adoption of a religion or other conscientious conviction as well as the freedom to practice, express or refrain from expressing, teaching, the religious or other conscientious conviction through religious practice, rites or otherwise, individually or with other devotees, in public or in private.

3. Relationship of Churches and the State • In the Republic of Hungary the church operates separate from the state. • State enforcement of the internal laws and regulations of a church is not available. • Churches have equal rights and equal duties.

4. Registration of Churches • Those following the same faith may, to practice their religion, establish a religious community, sect or church (in the following, collectively: Church). • A Church may be established in order to pursue any religious activity that is not against the Constitution or any Law • A church can be set up by a minimum of 100 persons.

5. Cultural, Social and Health Activities of churches • A church as a legal person may perform any educational, cultural, social, health care, sport or child and youth protection activities. To perform such activities, a church is entitled to establish and run institutions • According to the request of parents and students, the legally established church may provide religious education in state educational and training institutions

6. Finances of Churches • The assets of the legally registered church are accumulated mainly from individual donations, from private individuals as well as companies and other entities and from fees received for religious services. • The legal church is allowed to collect donations without any special permission, according to its internal regulations. • The legal church may, to gather the economic conditions necessary for the attainment of its goals, is allowed to set up businesses or participate in companies • People can offer 1% of their tax to churches

9. GBC Secretary • The operation of the Yatra is governed and supervised by the GBC Secretary. • He is responsible to the GBC body for the operation of the Yatra. • The GBC Secretary has a veto power over the decisions of the National Council, the Yatra President and the Boards of Directors. He can exercise this veto power at the meeting of the National Council. • Appoints and demotes the Yatra president.

10. National Council • The National Council is the supreme body of legislation and representation of the Yatra. • The National Council consists of all yatra officials, the directors, heads of departments, the leaders of the Council of Counsellors and any other person who is accepted by the National Council.

11. The National Council has the exclusive privilege of: • creating and modifying the Constitution of the Yatra • appointing and demoting the Yatra President • accepting the reports of the Directorates and departments • approving the budget and the report on the fulfilment of the budget of the Yatra • approving the accounts of the previous financial year • accepting decisions regarding liquidation of the Yatra • creating and approving a Vision for the Yatra • ratifying the Laws proposed by the National Board of Directors • appointing or demoting the Chief Pujari of Sri Sri Radha – Syamasundara

13. Yatra President • The Yatra President is the chief executive officer of the Yatra. • The Yatra President is appointed by the GBC Secretary. • The main responsibility of the Yatra President is to realize the vision passed by the National Council. In order to achieve this, he makes decisions toward such realization.

14. Yatra President • The Yatra President is responsible for the operation of the Yatra. • The Yatra President has the power of veto over the decisions of the central and local bodies of the Yatra. • The Yatra President has the power of appointing and demoting directors. • The Yatra President gives an annual report to the National Council concerning the results of the part period and the plans of the coming one. • The Yatra president creates and winds up the Board of Directors. • He appoints and demotes the chief of the Presidential Office. • The Yatra President may make decisions in all matters that the Constitution does not make the sole power of the National Council or the National Board of Directors.

16. The Boards of Directors • Boards of Directors are the local operative bodies of the Yatra. • Directors are members of the Boards of Directors. • The operation of the Yatra is looked after by two Boards of Directors: a,The Board at Krisna-valleyb, The Budapest Board of Directors

17. The powers of the Boards of Directors include: • Acting on the operative decisions of the Yatra President • Appointment and demotion of Heads of Department • Deciding on the annual and monthly budgets of the Boards of Directors • Appointing and canceling volunteers and making labour contracts • Creating and dissolving Departments • Is responsible for the realization of the annual budget.
