  2. Honor Among Knights in an Assembly • When entering the gym or multi-purpose room, walk quietly in a line. Be sure to listen for directions from your teacher or other adult for where to enter. • When coming in to the GYM, sit on the bleachers where you are directed. • Please be sure to walk on the steps only to go up and down on the bleachers – not on the seats!

Honor Among Knights in an Assembly • When the assembly is about to begin, teachers and administrators will signal by putting their hand up in the air. • When you see others giving this signal, you must stop all noise and put one hand in the air as well. • We all must be quiet and ready for the assembly to begin!

  4. Honor Among Knights in an Assembly • During an assembly, applauding is the only correct and courteous way to show approval of a program or speaker (unless otherwise directed). • No shouting or stomping! • Remain seated and quiet at all times.

  5. Honor Among Knights in an Assembly Congrats! You won! Now what? When your name is announced, stand and come forward. Shake hands with the teacher who is giving you the award and the other teachers or adults, and accept your certificate. Accept your shirt and/or other prizes from the teacher giving them out. Stand at the front.

  6. Honor Among Knights in an Assembly • Its time to leave! • Wait to be called by your teacher or an administrator. • Walk down the bleachers using the steps (not the seats!). • Walk in a line as a class to exit. • Line up in the hallway as directed by your teacher.

  7. Honor Among Knights in an Assembly Please remember, guests will often be at our assemblies. This is our time to be at our best and show the world that we share HONOR AMONG KNIGHTS!
