Pros • Easy to use • Highly interactive. Can contact people directly • Can search all posts on Twitter using key words • “Tweets” are often rebroadcast as “retweets”
Cons • Limited to 140 characters per post • Smaller user base then Facebook • Can’t post videos • Unsure of how much your tweets are being read
Crucial to Young Professionals • 56% of young professionals will not work for a company that bans social media • A third of the students polled valued social media freedom over salary • A third considered the Internet to be as important as air, water, and shelter
