TG Charge To form a task group (TG7) to create a life-cycle management system document for use in conjunction with products and/or standards used in the oil and gas industry. • The document should provide the means of identifying the continued compliance of a product to its original and/or current manufacturing and design requirements and the ability to demonstrate product compliance to original and/or current product standards and industry/product-specific technical and regulatory requirements throughout the product lifecycle.

Overview of LCM document • Based on Q1 and Q2 QMS requirements and structure • Defines the Lifecycle management process not product specific requirements • Product specific requirements are specified by equipment manufacturers, product standards, regulatory requirements, etc.
Structure of document • Three options for structure of document: • All requirement are fully contained in the LCM document • Where requirements are identical to Q1 and Q2 reference those requirements would be referenced. • Only include LCM requirements and require a Q1 or Q2 QMS
Current features of Document • Specific LCM requirements are defined in the LCMP and product definition based on Industry standards, OEM and regulatory requirements • 5 product status levels, two levels require monogram • Product definition specifies requirements for product • LCMP defines execution requirements for product maintenance
Product Status levels • – Not required initially but requirements shall be included in LCMP • a - Records only required for current configuration once in LCM
Path Forward • Continue to develop the requirements around LCM • Identify QMS requirements associated with LCM • Determine the level of differences in LCM requirements relative to Q1 and Q2. • Determine final structure of requirements
