PLM Program • Is based on the business strategy • achieve product lifecycle goals and objectives with maximum return and minimal risk • split into projects with clear scope and well defined time • prioritize projects (projects with the highest return value should have a highest priority) • Use logic when sequencing projects • Evaluate PLM system vendors

Group work • Make a current state analysis of your company • create solution portfolio and analyze +/- • show your company’s organization structure • make SWOT of your company’s business situation • make at least two scenarios what is the situation after 3 years and select one as your vision • define (as CEO) your main concerns and things CEO wants to improve • split PLM program into projects in different PLM phases and define scope and time to each program
