General Overview • All WPs started to outline strategies to be delivered as a coherent offer by WP10. • MIRRI has drafted a Business Case and a FinancialPlan and has contacted national stakeholders for signaling their commitment to fund the Operational and Construction Phases by signing a Memorandum of Understanding as a Member State.

The first 18 months Work that has been carried out by WPs 2, 6-9 builds on achievements of previous and ongoing national, European and global mBRC initiatives and research projects, such as those funded under FP5, FP6 and FP7, and the Global Biological Resource Centre Network project, work which lead to the vision of MIRRI. MIRRI at the half term report of the Preparatory Phase is well advanced and submitted all but two deliverablesas set in the DoW.
