Natural gas By: Juan Daniel Serrano Emilio Trujillo
History of this energy source • This energy source was discovered on the year of 1964 • Was discovered by the potential gas committee. • This company is from the country of the united states of America. • They started to use this natural gas, especially in the ovens so people can cook the food they eat.
In Ecuador • This energy source helps a lot in the economic part of this country because we have a lot of land that have petroleum and natural gas and this gas is taken with the same machines as the petroleum. • I said it so because people that sell this tanks of gas earn money by selling it on the streets. • If we don’t have this gas with us we cnt cook, cant wash us with hot water and also clean other things.
Does this energy source is renewable? • This natural gas is a non renewable source because it came of the death animals • This energy source is non renewable because it’s a fossil fuel. • Is taken the same way as people take petroleum because this to fossil fuels are in the same place.
How this energy source is use today? • This energy source is used in this time for two important things: • One of this is used to put on the oven so the oven will get hot and cook the food we eat. • Also is used for people to wash with hot water. • This natural gas is used to increase the economy of people and of the countries.
How the source of energy is stored and released? • This energy source is stored when this animals are death and are decomposing then a gas go out and its stored under ground. • This natural gas is released because when people take out the petroleum with that machines, then it also takes out the gas and that’s why it is released.
Advantages and of this source • Advantages: • An advantage of this source of energy is that let people cook food that we need to survive • Also it help in the part of economy the people and companies that sell it and makes people wash with hot water.
Disadvantages of this source • Some disadvantages of this source are: • Contaminates the air • Takes out natural parts that animals live in. • When its taken out there are spill of it that affect the environment. • Affect the animal by kill them because of this oil spills.
Environment impacts of this source • The impacts that have this source on the environment are the following: • It takes out trees so they can build machines to take out the source of energy, contaminates the air and kill many animals when something is spoiled. • A good benefit is that when this natural gas is used on cars for gasoline they are good for the environment and don't launch that black smoke that affect our breathing.
Future of this source • The future of this source may not be a problem because their still many places on the world when this gas is stored. Then if we found more and more about this gas then there will be more fuel for cars, cooking our food and taking a bath with hot water. • A bad thing is that this gas takes a lot of time to be ready because like we say it comes from dead animal that have died in a long time ago.
fact • In USA the place where they have found more natural gas than in other place of that country is in the state of Louisiana, Texas; Oklahoma and Pennsylvania. • Many companies of the world say that the USA is the country that looks more attractive to put factories of natural gas. • Some companies get to win 70 billion dollars for this natural gas sold in a year.
