Course Content • Reaching professional standards • Melting point of all areas of knowledge within architecture • -urban design • -theory and history of architecture • -environmental control • -structure, construction • -contemporary tools of architecture • Macro to micro scales (1/2500 to 1/20)
Evaluation • End product + process with the help of • 3 reviews and 3 juries • 1st Review – research, analysis and conceptual design ......... 5 % • 2nd Review – preliminary design ........................................... 5 % • Midterm jury – detailed design development .........................10% • 3rd Review - revision and improvement ................................ 5% • Pre-final jury – finalized project .............................................15% • INTERIM : 40% • Final jury – finalized project evaluated by group teachers (40%) and external jury members (60%) ...........................................60% • TERM GRADE :100%
Evaluation • If more than half of the jury members give failing grade, the student fails whatever is the average of his/her grades. • Plagiarism / cheating – One day sketch exam • It is obligatory to attend to all reviews, juries and sketch exams. If not, the person should come with a petition letter and proof to gain the make-up right. There is only one make-up right.
