  4. BitStorm 4800 • The BitStorm 4800 is a high density 24 or 48 port stackable (8) • ADSL DSL access concentrator with a Gigabit Ethernet • 10/100/1000 Uplink. Auto-Sensing • It can have a PPP V.35/X.21 or 530A uplink instead of GigE • Plug or cable • It can use fiber for the GigE link using SFP (Small form factor Plug) • Stackable to eight units for a total of 384 ports. 2 Different • management modules available. (1 with V.35/X.21 1 without) • It is ENET/IP on the Uplink. ATM is only between the 4800 and the • Endpoint (Allows for lowest price per port with low power ADSL chip)

  20. Configuration The BitStorm 4800 can be configured via 3 different interfaces 1.) Console Port Access (Command line interface or via dial/telnet) 2.) Web interface (Built in web server) 3.) SNMP (Supports SNMP V1/V2 EMS) Supports 2 Telnet sessions (1 console 1 Telnet) 4.) We are going to Configure the unit via the Web Interface The unit ships with a default IP address (10.10.10.10) Subnet Mask 255.0.0.0
