1. Taboo The game of words

2. What is ‘taboo’? • A taboo word is a word that has a bad meaning. People do not say this word because, if you say it, another person will be upset. • Like a swear word.

3. How to play • Each table is a team. • One member of the team comes to the front with their back to the board. • Their team must try get them to guess the word on the board WITHOUT using the ‘taboo’ words. • When you get a word right, you get points. • Try to guess as many words as you can in 2 minute.

4. Rules: • You cannot use Korean. • If you get the word right, you gain 10 points. • If you use one of the ‘taboo’ words, you lose 10 points. • Other teams must be quiet while one team plays. • Cannot act out the word.
