How was it? • I liked the book because it tells a story about growing up and how difficult some decisions are and how the things in your life change. I liked it because it was told by a teenager and because you could understand most of it.
Holden • I think Holden is a bit weird because he always changes from a nice guy to somebody who is fed up with everything. He is a bit odd because he does thinks which he for him self hates when others do it like being phony or saying bad words. I also think that he is crazy because he thinks about him as the one who saves others but he did never do some thing good for the people he saves.
Growing up • In the book The Catcher in the Rye growing up is shown in three days it shows how difficult it is to grow up and how many stones are thrown in your way. Growing up means to everybody something different, some think about it as one thing which adults do but for others it changes their hole life.
The book • The book was established 1951 • It was sold 65 million times and is sold 250000 times every year • The title was inspired by the poem comin’ through the Rye by Robert Burns
