  1. How to diagnose vehicle fault code by BMW ICOM and ISTA-D software Today illustrate how to diagnose vehicle fault code by BMW ICOM and ISTA-D software：Check all car module status， ，and delete fault code memories. Tool used:BMW ICOM A2 WIFI or BMW ICOM NEXT Software used:BMW ICOM HDD ISTA-D 4.04.12 Step1:Connect vehicle with ICOM,open ISTA-D 4.04.12. First you need test your car.Go”Vehicle information”→”Control unit tree”→”Star vehicle test”. Click “Yes”.

  2. Step2:Finished the vehicle test,fault module will show yellow or red. Yellow means wrong memory,red means no response,whole green means no any problem. Click “Display fault memory’’,check fault code.

  3. Step3:Go “Vehicle management”→ “Troubleshooting”→”Fault memory”. You can check the fault illustration with fault code,and double click every item and correspondingly show the detailed description.

  4. (“Calculate test plan” button guides to check fault.) Just click ”Clear error memory” and “Yes”.If it is not serious problem,all module will turn green.
