I disagree with the policy of letting natural wildfires burn.
Wildfires can harm plant life: Trees, flowers, etc. will die. Some plants will take some time to grow back. Some animals that eat plants may not be able to find food after the fire.
Wildfires can harm homes: • Some animals may survive but they might have to find new homes because maybe their old homes didn’t survive the fire(s). • Some people have houses or shacks near the woods or the forests, and if the wildfires get to big or too wild the houses or shacks can burn down. • Usually when the fires start they burn a lot of trees and trees are homes to A LOT of animals.
Animals: • Some animals can’t get away in time and get caught in the fire. • Some animals can get hurt when the trees fall or even die. • Animals can lose their homes and have nowhere else to go.
I think fires should be taken out even if their small or big as soon as possible because if the fires get too big a lot of firefighters will have to work and they could get hurt.
