Green Roof Professional (GRP) Accreditation Program • In 2008, sixteen subject matter experts met to develop detailed Occupational Standards for the Green Roof Professional (GRP) designation. • These standards form the detailed knowledge requirements for the GRP and establish the basis for the GRP multi-disciplinary, multiple choice exam. 2008 Occupational Standards Meeting.
Green Roof Professional (GRP) Accreditation Program Industry-driven, exam-based certification. Launched in June of 2009. Now over 500 GRPs in the marketplace. • Enables professionals to differentiate themselves in the marketplace. • Improves multi-disciplinary collaboration. • Increases customer confidence in green roof technology. • Results in better green roof design and installation practices. • Protects the industry from the inevitable failures that result from inappropriate design, installation and maintenance practices.
