One day Johnny’s Mom and Dad took him to a neat place called AIT to help his ears feel better. At AIT he listened to music on really big headphones and sat in a really comfy chair. The headphones felt funny at first, but after awhile Johnny liked them. The music started making him feel really good. Johnny started to go to AIT twice a day for 10 days.
Johnny’s mom and Dad made him a special quiet place at home with pillows and blankets and fun toys. They told him to always tell someone if a loud noise was bothering his ears. He didn’t have to cry, yell or scream anymore.
