The Passage of Aeons

1. ThePassage of Aeons The History of the Earth according to the Ancient Egyptians...

2. Before the beginning... Nothing…Nothing is…Nothing becomes... The Big Bang! Fiery twirling, swirling, tumbling, rampaging, then cooling, coalescing… Universe, Galaxy, Star and, out on the rim of a Great Arm… A planet, one among many: the earth!

3. Isis, the Mother Goddess presides... From its birth, for countless millennia, the earth was nurtured by Isis, mother of the planet~ This was the Aeon of the worship of Nature…of magic…of spirits and gods… of giants and dragons…orcs and trolls~ This was the time of the high priest and priestess, the witch and the warlock, the shaman and the medicine man~ This was the Aeon of Isis~

4. All things must pass... In the great order of things, all is ever in flux, old yields to new, one Aeon gives way to the next~ In due time, the Mother gave way to the Father, the worship of Nature gave way to the worship of Man~ The time of magic yielded to the time of mortality~ As it was written, the Aeon of Isis surrendered itself to the Aeon of Osiris~

5. The Advent of Osiris...…500 BC The first Aeon change of which there is actual record took place in the city of Thebes in the 26th Dynasty. The Magus who initiated this Equinox of the Gods was a prince named Ankh-af-na-khonsu. This event was recorded by To Mega Therion (Aleister Crowley) in an allegory entitled “Across the Gulf.”

6. The Aeon of Osiris From the nurturing Mother to disciplinarian Father… The reign of Osiris was one of harsh lessons, for his formula was Love, Death & Resurrection… The formula of the Dying and Risen God~ The worship of many gods was replaced by the worship of one god. Jesus of Nazareth died a brutal death to save Mankind from its sins. Buddha attained to wisdom to stop the suffering of Mankind.

7. The Way of Osiris The life of man, in its triumph and tragedy, is central to the beliefs of Osirian religions. Death and martyrdom are often seen as paths to redemption and salvation. Osirian religions tend to display shame & guilt for the sins of the “world, the flesh and the devil.” Osirian societies tend to patriarchal leaders and male domination. In 1904, at an Equinox of the Gods,Osiris yielded place to his son, Horus.

8. The Aeon of Horus The primary icon of this Aeon is the Stele of Revealing~ The message of the Gods about this Aeon is given in The Book of the Law. Horus (in Egyptian, Ra Hoor Khuit) is the Son of Isis and Osiris. He is known as the Crowned and Conquering Child~

9. Horus is the Lord of the Sun Hail unto thee who art Ra in thy rising, even unto thee who art Ra in thy strength. He is tolerant & loving of his people, but to those who resist his reign and law... His word is ABRAHADABRA and his law is THELEMA

10. Horus is the God of War No sooner had his reign been proclaimed than the world was plunged into the greatest wars in all of human hist0ry~ “...this is the Law of the Battle of Conquest: thus shall my worship be about my secret house.” “Now let it be first understood that I am a god of War and of Vengeance. I shall deal hardly with them…”

11. The Scarlet Woman is His Consort “Let her raise herself in pride! Let her follow me in my way! Let her work the work of wickedness! Let her kill her heart! “Let Mary inviolate be torn upon wheels: for her sake let all chaste women be utterly despised among you.” Let her be loud and adulterous! Let her be covered with jewels and rich garments, and let her be shameless before all men!”

12. What of the future? But Mankind need only accept the Book of the Law and the Law of Thelema and we will enter a Golden Age~ As long as Mankind resists the reign of Ra Hoor, there will be unrelenting blood, fire & death, for the God of War is also a wanton child~ Choose ye well!
