Campus Life • Calendar of School Year: • 2010 Fall Semester August 30th- December 9th • 2011 Winter Semester January 4th- April 13th • Summer: June 20th-August 8th • Fall: August 29th- December 8th • Campus Visits: • Tours arranged by contacting the Campus Visits Office • Tours given every hour on the hour from 9-4, Monday through Friday

  9. Campus Life- Housing • Four housing complexes for single students, one housing complex for married students About 80 to 85 percent of new freshmen live in on-campus housing.

Roughly 4,800 beds available within BYU's four single student apartment complexes • Helaman Halls, Heritage Halls, Wyview Park and the Foreign Language Student Residences. • Wymount Terrace provides an additional 900 on-campus apartments for married students. BYU has contracted with more than 1,500 landlords and 5,500 living units for single undergraduate students to live off campus.

Sports and Activities • Intramural Sports: • Fall- Tennis singles, ultimate frisbee, flag football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, racquetball singles, golf scramble, tennis doubles, coed volleyball, 3 on 3 basketball, badminton singles, racquetball doubles, turkey trot race, t-shirt design contest. • Winter- Basketball, soccer, innertube waterpolo, wallyball, tennis doubles, racquetball doubles, badminton doubles, flag football, tennis singles, racquetball singles, 3 point contest, run for your life. • Spring/Summer-Coed Soccer, softball, kickball, racquetball singles, golf scramble, tennis singles, tennis doubles, coed softball, ultimate frisbee, volleyball 2 on 2.

Extramural and NCAA Sports • -BYU has four extramural sports programs: Racquetball (Men's and Women's), Men's Rugby, Men's Soccer and Men's Lacrosse • -Racquetball, Soccer, Rugby and Lacrosse have won national championships in their divisions • BYU football holds the NCAA record for most consecutive games without being shutout, with 361 games over 28 years. • BYU cougar football participates in the NCAA Division 1 Football Bowl Subdivision
