Shock on PAC meeting in April 2003 for IBR-2 funding: underfinancing by nearly 50% of JINR (MAE ~100%) Actually financing for 2003 by JINR ~50% (plan MAE ~-30%) The PAC asks the Scientific Council again to repeat and to strengthen its recommendations for the upgrade of the IBR-2 reactor complex as absolute priority in international collaboration and obligation, to support the recent positive development to recover the shortfall in general funding and in the time schedule for the rest of the year 2003 and for the whole refurbishment period.
