  6. Notice !!! • 16-19 and 21-29 are written as one word. • 31 and up are three words • All numbers except 11 that end in uno become un or una before a noun • Example veintiún años, veintiuna primas

  8. Es el (number) de (month) • Es el dos de octubre. • Es el veintiuno de abril. • Es el treinta y uno de diciembre. • Es el primero de mayo. • Numerically the date is backward from English 4/2 is the fourth of February. • 12/2 is February 12th, 2/12 is December 2nd.

  9. Notice!!! • Months are not capitalized. • The first is el primero, not el uno.
