  2. This update to eBrowser includes the following items: • Filter changes for improved searching for reports • Associated Providers display • DNE enhancements • Graphical lab trending • Other miscellaneous changes DHTS Technology Education and Information Design 10/18/10

  3. Filter Changes Example of current filters: Figure 1 Example of new filters: Figure 2 The new filters introduce “All” & “None” options. The default selection is set to “All” as shown in figure 2 above. To view fewer filters, select “None” and then select the filter you want to see such as Chem or Heme. The Other filter will include reports that do not fall under other tabs. DHTS Technology Education and Information Design 10/18/10

  4. Time Filter Change The global time filter has been moved down to the right side of the filter line as shown below. Figure 3 The global time filter is now color coded to remind you that something other than AllResults is selected. This filter defaults to All Results; if you select a different time filter, that filter becomes the default for your current eBrowser session until you put the filter back to All Results. Each time you open a new eBrowser session, the default is restored to All Results. DHTS Technology Education and Information Design 10/18/10

Associated Provider View • Associated providers include providers that have seen, referred or received faxes on a patient. • Associated providers for a patient can now be viewed on the Patient Information icon. • Note: there is no historical data in this field. Data will begin to collect with the release of this upgrade to eBrowser. • The following video shows you how to access associated provider information.   8. DNE Enhancements DNE Quick Launch Figure 4 A new icon has been added to the toolbar to start a new DNE note quickly. When you select this, eBrowser will automatically populate the DNE form with the MRN number of the current patient. You can also get to this from Documents Menu > New Document.   9. DNE Enhancements continued Auto Fax of DNE Documents DNE documents can now be auto faxed. A new Auto Fax tab has been added to the DNE documents to add auto fax recipients. Watch this video to see how it works… DHTS Technology Education and Information Design 10/18/10

  11. DNE Enhancements continued Clone a DNE Report Text-type DNE reports can now be cloned. If a note can be cloned, a new clone note icon will display in the upper right corner of the note in eBrowser; see image below. If you have the rights to create a note, you can clone a note. If you clone a note you must update appropriate information. Figure 5 You can also clone a note from your ESIG queue. Open ESIG Queue > Click Search eSIG Documents > enter MRN > select a report > click clone note button (if the clone note icon is grayed out, that means the note cannot be cloned). Other Miscellaneous Changes • New Results: • A new preference is added – you can choose if you want to display documents that you signed in your new results list. • A new rule for adding Senior and Attending MDs has been added. • CareDoc Views: • There is an option to set your default time interval. • Disease Management : • Chronic Kidney Disease has been added DHTS Technology Education and Information Design 10/18/10
