Proposals • Strategic orientation for the IPA and NPI programmes also on the basis of TA2020 • Better coordination among cross-border cooperations on the external borders of the EU and on the otherETC programmes and other relevant instruments. • Cooparation with CEMAT (Council of Europe Conference of Ministers responsible for Regional Planning) • Strengthening the macro-regional approach • Encouragecommon platformsto break down the main barriers (language, culture, infrastructure) of the cooperations and to encourage bottom up initiatives.
