World War II • While the war was going on in Europe, Americans forces were also fighting in the Pacific. Realizing it would be next to impossible to retake all the land the Japanese had captured, the Americans chose to only selectively retake strategic islands that they would use as military bases and air field. This approach was known as Island Hopping.

Spring Break 2015 • The deadline for the invitees to have exclusive registration for the Spring Break 2015 Costa Rica trip has passed. Dress Code • Students are required to wear “Dockers-Style” Pants or Shorts. • NOT Spandex or Leggings or Tights or Yoga Pants or Sweats, Etc. • Shorts and skirts are required to be at least finger-tip length. If violations continue, students will be required to buy pants from a specific vendor (as we do with tops) next year. • Students are asking to switch over to jeans next year, but that will notbe considered unless things improve NOW. • ONLYschool hoodies are allowed.
