Your job is to look up multiple newspapers from Germany. • You will need to read and understand the current news events going on in Germany and German speaking countries. • You will then as a group need to use one or more of the current news events for the class video. • Therefore rewriting in your own words what is happening in German. Group 1 – News reporters

  6. You will need to research the current weather in Germany. Not only for one area but for the whole country. • You will then as a group need to predict what will happen in the next week for the whole country. • Your prediction will need to be well thought out and in German. • You can also create maps and images to display in the class video. • Remember Germany uses Celsius. Group 2 - Meteorologists

  7. Germany has many great sports teams and sports are a huge part of German culture. • So like the other groups you will need to research what sports are playing during this time of year and what the stats are. • You will need to create an exciting ten minute presentation getting everyone up to date on the world of sports in Germany. • Of course all presentations need to be in German. Group 3 – Sports Broadcasters

  8. Germany has many commercials that are similar to those in the states. • You will need to look up current German commercials. Then create some new ones using the same products. • These can be short but remember you have to create enough to cover ten minutes in the video. Groups 4 – Commercials

  9. Once all of the research is completed, the video will need to be made! • Remember all the information you will be presenting is from the internet but in your own words. • The video will be filmed during class and each group should bring props to make it look as real as possible. • This is a news broadcast!!! Remember to have fun! Finishing Up
