Statement of Purpose • Address the lack of awareness of the agency and its developmental goals among the general public • Establish UNDP as an expert knowledge center in the development field with the Government of Kuwait (GoK) and CSOs/NGOs • Maintain and attract new partners and participants to the programme
Mission • To produce adequate and high quality communications resources to meet media, development partners, GoK and UNDPGO needs for raising awareness, promoting understanding and growing support for UNDP while using communications as a vital tool for advocacy and development
Objectives • Provide outreach and visibility support to the CPAP 2009-2013 • Produce and market communication products such as: annual report, brochures, fact sheets, calendars, memorabilia and other promotional documents to create awareness of UNDP programmes among target audiences • Upgrade UNDP- Kuwait website
Objectives • Manage UNDP presence on online social networking sites • Develop and implement GoK outreach programmes • Develop and implement TV, radio and print media outreach programmes • Develop and implement community, CSOs, NGOs, student and public outreach programmes • Develop and implement internal communication strategies
