Railway Authority>Registration • All Organisation of IR were given a administration id (i.e…….admin) authorised to be used by CPDEs, for creation of various railway users and utilisation of portal. The interpretation of various Fields in the Contractor’ registration page are • The list of existing organisations as well as Division/ Field units/ Workshops have been populated in the system • CPDEs can create as many user accounts for their railway/ PU etc department/ division / unit wise and grant them privileges : • Contractor verification • LOA verification • User Creation with/without verification power • Unique mobile number and email address associated with the account are Mandatory • Any Railway User accounts can be managed by the creator of that account or GM/DRM/PHOD/CEPD i.e. Enable/Disable accounts (a disabled user cannot login), Change login password, Change privileges www.shramikkalyan.indianrailways.gov.in

  7. Contractor >Registration • First, a new contractor has to submit a request to register his firm in the portal using his PAN number and work order details. The interpretation of various Fields in the Contractor’ registration page are • Subject to approval of competent authority for registering the firm in the portal • PAN number entered by the user becomes the useridof the contractor. • SMS and Email(if provided) notification will be sent to the contractor after verification of the contractor by LOA Issuing Authority. • Contractor can login to the portal only after this verification to perform various functions i.e.: • Request for new LOA registration to Railway Authority, Register Workman, Upload Workman photo, Generate Work man I-card, Assign/ Re-assign/ Terminate a work man to/ from a work order, Enter details of wages paid to work man, Generate wages report, Change his password, Feedback Registration www.shramikkalyan.indianrailways.gov.in

  13. Contractor > LoA Registration • Contractor has to Upload LoA details through ‘Create LoAtab’ for requesting LoA issuing authority to register the LoA in the portal. The interpretation of various Fields in the Contractor’ registration page are • Date of Commencement of Work depends on the minimum wage data availability in the system. System checks the oldest date from which minimum wage data is avaialablein the system and restricts the Date of Commencement date entry before that date. • Date of Completion of Work must be more than Date of Commencement of Work. If input is not given in the Extended Date of Completion of Work field , then it is automatically set to the Date of Completion of Work date by the system • After submission of the form, LOA is marked by system to the LOA Issuing Authority/Principal Employer for verification. • Subject to approval of competent authority for registering the LoA various details related to engaged workman, their days of engagement, termination and wage payments can be entered against that LoA www.shramikkalyan.indianrailways.gov.in

  19. Contractor >Add Workman • Contractor can add workman through ‘Engaged Workman Details’ tab under ‘Workman tab’ in the portal. The interpretation of various Fields in the Workman addition page are • Add Workman through Excel • User chose Engaged Workman Details and the select Add Multiple Workman option. Then user select the LOA and LOA location. Then user downloads a excel file by from Download Excel(For Uploading) button. This excel file contains prefilled data for the following static fields: • Identity Card Type • Sex • Category • Employment type • Skill Type • Qualification • User fills the data in the downloaded Excel file. Then user uploads the data by selecting the excel file from chose File option.   32. Contractor >AddWage • Contractor can add/edit Wage details through ‘Add Wage’ tab & ‘Edit Wage’ tab under ‘Wage’ tab in the portal. The interpretation of various Fields in the Wage addition page are • Contractor enters the workman present days and wage components for each displayed workman and submits wage data by clicking Add Wage tab. • If wage entry is not pending for any workman for the selected month then user is given a message that the wage is not pending for this month. • If there is pending wage for this LOA for a month previous to selected month, then system restricts wage entry for the selected month and ask user to complete wage entry for the previous month • System restrict wage entry if ‘Minimum Wage Data’ for the selected month is not available in the system • System automatically calculates Net Amount for each workman before submitting data. User can also check the Net Amount of the workman by clicking Calculate Wage tab. • Upon successful wage registration, SMS notifications are sent to the workmen (If mobile number is provided) informing the net salary amount.

  33. Contractor >AddWage • Add Wage (Through Excel) Process • Contractor select the ADD Wage option then the Year and Month for which he wants the Add Wage. User chose the desired LOA and then click GO. System shows only 20 workman from pending workman list for the LOA. User have to repeat the process until all workman wage is added. • User clicks the export the above table to XLS button. A excel file with the following fields prefilled is downloaded: • Sl. No • ID • Workman Name • Category • Engagement Start • Minimum Wage • Wage Rate • User fills the data in the rest of the fields of the excel file then upload the excel file from select file option. The data is uploaded in the wage entry form and data is validated. User can correct the errors shown in validation directly in the form and then submits the data by clicking Add Wage button.
