  1. Dr. Kuo received both of his B.S. and M.S. degrees from National Chiao-Tung University, Taiwan R.O.C. in 1970 and 1973.

  3. He took a Research Associate position from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) to work at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory on the Elmo Bumpy Torus (EBT) fusion program.
