Alicante (100 kms.) Click on the picture Using the train: Connections to Valencia from Barcelona and Madrid are possible but much more complicated and longer. In any case when you land, check for train connections through Renfe www.renfe.es but be aware that you will have to go to the city center.

Coach from the eirport • Locate the information desk and ask for the times to Gandia (you will have to change at Alicante city bus station (very safe place). • The coach company between Alicante and Gandia is ALSA (www.alsa.es) but only runs once a day.
Renting a car • It can be somewhat expensive to rent a car in the peninsula. • The cheapest reliable company is Pepecar (www.pepecar.com, click on the link below) • From Valencia (4 days, pepecar) total 110€ (returning it to the same airport) • From Alicante (4 days, pepecar) total 120€ (returning it to the same airport)

Underground • Pick up your luggage and look for the underground sign at the airport exit. You do not need to get out of the building. • Now just follow the instructions.
