PIR Camera Characteristics 2 • High sensitivity CMOS image sensor: Aptina MT9V136, ¼ inch • Various picture resolutions – VGA, QVGA in color or B&W • Night vision with 2 IR LEDs • 10m coverage range in absolute darkness • IR illumination keeps the camera discreet • Automatic B&W in low light conditions • Two powerful AA 3.6V/2Ah batteries • Typical 3 Years battery life according to 2000 pictures and 4 arming/disarming a day • Optional Bracket support (MB2) • No. of pictures per event configurable from 1 to 10 • The time delay between pictures' capture is configurable (2 fps to 15fps) • Camera settings can be configured remotely (via the ELAS) • "Sleep mode" during disarm mode for battery conservation • Coming soon: AC powered Video look-in and pre-event picture capture

  3. PIR Camera Registration 3 • Registering the PIR Camera is similar to registering a PIR • When Registering a PIR Cam additional parameters will be enabled in the ‘Sensor Parameters’ menu ([11]). • The following parameters are the same as in the PIR • LED • PULSE • ALARM DELAY

  4. PIR Camera Configuration 4 • Additional ‘Sensor Parameters’ for the PIR Cam: • Cam resolution - • Color - • Exposure window (N.A.) – future option to control the camera’s shutter • Compression - • Flash -

PIR Camera Configuration 5 • # of pictures – Max. 5 for VGA quality and Max. 9 for QVGA and QQVGA • # of differential pictures (N.A.) –Future option regarding video clips • Picture delay – Delay between snapshots. Between 160-500ms (in the WebRP it is shown in 10th of a ms, 16-50) • User monitoring – Enable/Disable the option for snapshot request by the end user. • Zones assignment – Up to 4 additional zones that can trigger snapshots from the PIR Cam • Delete Procedure – Same as deleting the PIR

  6. 2-Way iConnect • Communication via IP or GPRS to ELAS • The system can support up to 8 PIR camera • Any detector (e.g. magnetic switch, smoke etc.), up to 4 per camera can be configured to activate the camera or more cameras • The PIR camera can be configured remotely via the ELAS RP • All other accessories work in 2-Way RF mode: • Faster and reliable communication • Battery life optimization 6
