Efforts Include • Maintaining Federal Compliance • Maintaining State & Local Collaboration • ECC (Sub Committee Representation) • RDSTF • Keeping the Community Informed • Community Hurricane Forum • Web Page , Radio and Local TV Channel • Keeping Staff Prepared • Senior Staff Table Top Exercise • Annual CEOP Review • Mandatory Employee meetings • Emergency Management Planning Committee (EMPC)
NIMS Compliance • National Incident Management System (NIMS) • Based upon a Presidential Directive. • Required to maintain Grant eligibility. • Very Pragmatic and successful approach to Organizational management. • All employees have some role and are required to complete basic coursework.
State and County Collaboration • Emergency Coordinating Council (ECC) an advisory board established in accordance with FSS • Each Municipality has a voting member • Comprised of Several EM Working Groups • BEMA
