  2. Long Term Goals • Adopt 21st century teaching approaches to enhance students interest towards ICT (Integrated Curriculum through Technology).

  3. Short term Goals • Enhance observing and learning skills • Encourage students to use computer’s word processing program for making documents. and simulation program for understanding different things. • Encourage students to involve themselves in computer activities such as calculations, developing images and making different kind of graphs.

  4. 21st Century Approaches • Interviewing skills • Listening and speaking skills • Giving directions skills. • Observing skills • Encouraging skills • Questioning skills

  5. 1. Introduction to computer and its use 2. Word and text and computer modelling 3. Exercises and activities 4. Assesment / feedback plan

  6. Instructional strategies and tasks • I will allow students to discuss their ideas and queries with teachers and with their class fellows. • Encourage student to make others subject assignment on computer for more efficient and reliable • Provide more opportunities for students to apply higher order thinking for different questions.

  7. Solutions to Anticipated Challenges Solutions Challenges • ICT period allocation • should be increased. • Less no. of period allocation for ICT. • Re-design or change the curriculum • Proper home work policy • should be followed. • Access should be given but • restrict irrelevant websites. • Internet access

  10. Conclusion 21st century teaching approaches would help my students to acquire higher level of thinking and to gain a better knowledge of ICT subject.
