EUROCORES - Main Features • Multi-national research projects (research groups from at least 3 different participating countries ) • International competition • Funding remains national • ESF ensures quality control • Provides flexible framework for collaboration of national funding agencies • Investigator driven A Eurocores programme typically involves • 10-20 participating countries (LogICCC: 16) • a research budget of ca. 5 M€ (LogICCC: 7M€) • a running time of 3 years MIDiSoVa, 26-28 March 2010

  11. LogICCC – Modelling Intelligent Interaction The EUROCORES programme “LogICCC – Modelling Intelligent Interaction. Logic in the Humanities, Social and Computational Sciences” aims at a deeper understanding of intelligent interaction by letting logic in its modern guise act as a catalyst and a ’match maker’ between the different relevant disciplines.
