Monitoring Station Impact The GS3055-I communicates to the receiver in Contact ID format. The signal that is displayed to the operator looks 100% identical to Contact ID information received from a traditional phone line.
Monitoring Station Impact Because the GS3055-I is an IP communicator there are no phone line charges for answering the call.
Monitoring Station Impact Because IP communications are secure there is no chance of the account number/reporting codes being changed by the phone lines. If part of the information gets corrupted the GS3055-I will simply re-transmit the signal.
Monitoring Station Impact In order to output the SIM card number to the automation software the most current drivers for the System II or System III must be installed from the automation software provider.
