  2. In Finland weare on holiday for fivedays. From ThursdaytoMonday WecelebrateEaster in different ways:

  3. In churches Everyevening in Easterweekpeoplegather in churchesto listen to the story about Jesus last days. Thursdayeveningweshare the communion. In Friday the service in churches is given without organ (music) everything is black at the altar.

  4. On Sundaywecelebrate the resurrectionof Christ

  5. What do weeat? Wehave a special foodcalled ”Memma”. It is madeofryeand malt and syrup. Youshouldtaste it! Weeat it with sugar and cream. Yummy!

  6. Wealsochocolate eggs, maybewith a toy inside. Alsoordianary eggs ofcourse

  7. On Saturdaychildren dress up as witches. They visit neighbors and ask for candy.

  8. Wealsosowgrasswhereweputchickens. Wealsobring in small brancheswhichwedecoratewithfeathers

  9. On Saturdaywe make an Easterbonfire. It can be huge. Sometimesthere is onebigfire for the wholevillage

  10. In Eastermanypeoplealso go toLaplandtoski, where the weatheroften is Greatthistimeof the year. A lotofsnow is still there and it is sunny and quitewarm

  11. Thisyearwehaven’thadanysnowexcept for twoweeksbeforechristmas. What has the weatherbeen like in Slovenia? Nowthere is spring in Finland and temperaturewas 18 degrees on Monday. Todaythere is only 10 degrees...
