Bursting Day • In Iceland this day is called Sprengidagur. • In other countries it is known as Fat Tuesday or Shrove Tuesday. • On this day many people eat salted meat and peas.
Mardi Gras (=bursting day) • In Belgium it‘s called vette dinsdag/mardi gras • We do a lot of parades, the most famous one is that of Aalst Gilles de Binche
