Mathematics DepartmentDr. John Dawson • Challenges: • Student preparedness for class • Students with different mathematical skill in the same course • Revisits new materials when there is a new edition out (every 3 or 4 years) • New online adoption forms for Iowa City Campus • Custom titles are not in the system • Imports TestGen by Pearson into Angel • Likes the textbook because of TestGen

Economics DepartmentSaul Mekies • Materials: • Face-to-face courses utilize Hubbard & O’Brien (Pearson) • Online courses utilize McConnell’s (McGraw-Hill) • MyEconLab • Attends the American Economic Association meeting every year in January to keep up with the profession • New texts are showcased here (Pearson is one of the attendees)
