Assignment-Styles of Art Mobile • Overview: • A mobile is a type of moving sculpture that consists of a number of rods, from which weighted objects or further rods hang. • Objective: • Demonstrate your knowledge of the styles of art by creating a “Styles of Art Mobile” • Directions: • Groups of 4 • Strand directions: • One mobile strand per style of art • Each person is responsible for creating at least 1strands • (one person is responsible for designing the mobile) • Each strand must have a title identifying the style of art • Use a notecard • Each strand must RESTATE the definition of the style of art in your own words! • Use a notecard • Each strand must have oneimages that illustrate the style
