Information about the poll • The poll was conducted on-site by CIVIS company • Sample: stratified, probabilistic, two-staged, with an amount of 1 115 people aged 18 or more from 76 communities established in an aleatory way; • Representativeness: the sample is representative for the adult population of the Republic of Moldova (except its Eastern districts), with a maximal error of +3%; • Period for data collection: 28th of March -13th of April 2014 . The interviews have been conducted at the respondents’ domicile, either in Romanian or Russian language, depending on the respondent’s choice. • The analysis of the sample structure obtained on-site revealed the concordance between the distribution of the population according to the available statistical data and those obtained, with the admissible statistical deviation. A difference was remarked within the structure by genders, women being over-represented and among age-groups, the age-cohort 18-44 being under-represented. • The presented results are balanced. The difference between the balanced and non-balanced results does not overpass 0,6% with regard to any question.
